North Korea Agrees to Halt Nuclear Activities
North Korea has agreed to suspend all nuclear activities and stop testing nuclear weapons and long-range missiles in exchange for 240,000 metric tons of US food aid. In addition, North Korea will allow nuclear inspectors from the UN's International Atomic Energy Agency to visit its main nuclear complex.
